Company Overview

We have seen very strong growth in recent years and are continually evolving to meet the changing market requirements and challenges that come with high growth. We currently have over 120 staff across our main headquarters in Pembroke Dock, 2PL warehouse in Newport, Warrington branch, Mauritius office and China office.

We pride ourselves on providing a quality product at a very competitive price, delivered promptly to our customers. All repair work which is under guarantee is carried out in-house by our expert staff and we keep a huge stock of spare parts for all machines.

The most exciting part is that we are just getting started.

2023-24 will be our biggest year with significant growth forecast, driven by acquisition and growing our existing brands and adding new brands and new territories. Our target is to gain considerable market share over the next 3 years and to exceed £100m turnover by 2025. Our business growth model is built around increasing our online sales through omnichannel product placemen and distribution.

Genpower Ltd is a family run business founded in 2006 by Roland Llewellin (Managing Director) and his wife, Lisa Llewellin (Director).

The company is the exclusive distributor of HYUNDAI POWER PRODUCTS for the UK and Ireland, supported by a team of over 120 colleagues. Our portfolio of brands also includes P1 POWER EQUIPMENT, EVOPOWER, GARDENTEK & BE PRESSURE.

In 2022, we became the worldwide (excl. India) distributor for JCB portable power and petrol equipment. We have also secured the UK distribution, working alongside a great partner as a sub-licensee, for JCB TOOLS – corded, cordless, hand and bench top products in the growing range.

From our 120,000 sqft headquarters in Pembroke Dock and new 100,000sq ft distribution centre in Newport, we distribute to an approved dealer (reseller) network and direct-to-consumer via our ecommerce channels and specialist online retailers. Our ever increasing product range includes: garden machinery, petrol generators for leisure and industrial use, diesel generators for standby use up to 550kVA, petrol, diesel and electric pressure washers for DIY and Industrial use, electric and petrol air compressors, electric, petrol and diesel water pumps, power tools, light construction equipment and workshop equipment.

Stock locations

All stock locations are barcoded and all goods are barcoded before being put away into the warehouse to maximize pick accuracy.

Product Research & Development

We select our product offering on a deep understanding of our customer needs. Our in house product team use their expert knowledge in collaboration with our suppliers to create the best and affordable solutions for our customers.

Warehousing & Distribution

With more than 350 products lines & 22,000 replacement parts under the roof of 3 distribution centres we use a chosen network of carriers that deliver promptly and securely. We have invested into a Warehouse Management System with handheld walk around integration allowing for a paperless warehouse system that ensures accountability, efficiency and scalability. Our Head Office location in Pembroke Dock is 120,000 sq ft, equipped with VNA and counterbalance and reach forklift trucks. We also have 16,000 pallet capacity at our Newport warehouse, which is a brand-new build with 10 dock level loading bays.

Sales & Aftercare

We provide expert product knowledge & aftercare to customers and trade professionals purchased through our retail & dealer network and ecommerce channels. Our aftercare team delivers 360° customer support ranging from front-line general enquiries via our customer experience team, through to technical support, warranty parts supply, parts sales and workshop assistance. We believe that this a winning combination which encompasses all of our customer needs, ensuring that we achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction within our market.
